And now I feel bad. I’m sorry if I upset anyone (and I really hope I didn’t). It’s completely unintentional on my part if I did. 🙁
Like what you want to like. In the end, it’s all good. Just remember it’s fiction. That’s all.
I know what you’re saying, it’s just a little heartbreaking honestly to see so many people getting shit on for making softer headcanons. I mean, if you have inspiration to write more fluff things, then let people write fluff! I mean, it’s hard enough as a writer to write things on my own time but having people literally rip one of your ideas that you cherish to shreds, that breaks my heart. I don’t want to fight with anyone.
That’s true. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with fluff. Hell, I shamelessly fangirl over Darkiplier myself in my spare time! I’m totally down with the idea that the bad guy has a soft spot for someone who isn’t himself, which is why my version of Dark also has a “family.”
Again, people are complex. Villains and heroes are people too. They can care about things… maybe even love, some of them. Like Spike from the Buffyverse for example. Evil to the core, but still loved Drusilla (and later Buffy herself) passionately… just not wisely.
And, personally, I love your writing. You do you, bb. 🙂
