Hey Melissa! I hope you’re having a great day today! 😊I wanted to ask: do you believe in the superstitions about Friday the 13th? We have one coming up in October, so I was just curious.

I’m doing just fine, my little nonnymouse! Hope you’re doing well too. 🙂

I’m not a terribly superstitious person… which probably sounds odd coming from someone who’s into astrology and tarot and such, but hey. I’m a complicated gal. 🙂

But yeah, I don’t believe in the Friday the 13th mumbo jumbo, of it being an inauspicious day. Thirteen is just a number… and actually, in numerology, it’s considered a good thing. In numerology, every number sequence (with very few exceptions) resolves down to a single digit, and in a numerological sense 13 = 4. (Because 1+3, you see.)

13 by itself in numerology, represents upheaval and transformation (much like the Death card in tarot and the sign of Scorpio in astrology). But this is NOT a bad thing, spiritually speaking; this merely represents new ground being broken in one’s life, a moment when the risks you took finally begin to pay off and the chance to try new things is open to you. It also represents dedication to one’s work.

One door closes… and a new one opens.

When you resolve 13 down to the number 4, it’s symbolic of the need for practicality and pragmatism. Which, again, are GOOD things.

Don’t be scared of the 13th coming up… just look at it as the perfect time to do some mental spring cleaning and clarifying of where your life is headed, before you get to have some fun trick or treating later in the month. 🙂

Self-reblog because, hey, didn’t I tell you guys Friday the 13th could be a good thing?

Well, now you’ve got proof: Mark’s big project, filmed in the castle and with multiple characters/egos, will be released on that very date.

Do I get to say “I told you so” now? 😛

Mostly, I write stuff. And, like the Egyptians and the Internet, I put cat pictures on my walls. Also, I can read your Tarot.
